Maintenance of TGM Mill

Usage and Maintenance of TGM Mill

Make sure power-off and avoid starting the TGM Series Super Pressure Trapezium Grinding Mill unexpected before maintaining and repairing the machine. First stop all the equipments then start malignance and repair.

1. Prior to installation of the TGM Series Super Pressure Trapezium Grinding Mill, all the people who will be assigned to operate the equipment have to be technically trained to know the principle and rules of operation. Someone should be specially selected and put in charge of the operation.

2. To ensure normal and safe operation of the equipment, a manual containing strict rules and procedures for its operation, maintenance and repair should be made.

3. Engage for the reserve quantity of the material needed during production process, and tools of repair, oil, grease, and enough spare parts.

4. Fill the oil according to the setting time and setting position, to ensure the normal running of the machine and to extend its service life.

5. After a period of usage, all the matching equipments should be checked in order to be convenient for maintenance and repair.

6. To replace the worn-and-torn parts such as rollers, rings and shelves. Be sure to fasten connecting bolts, nut collars to fix rollers properly. Be sure to lubricate the parts.

7. Roller should be replaced after 500-hours usage. To check the bearing in them and replace bracken ones, and then fill enough oil and grease (with oil-pump or grease-gun)

8. Vane of classifier, impeller or vane of blower should be repaired or changed regularly.

9. Bag filters need to be slapped to get rid of the dust adhere to the inner surface.

10.To start the elevator without load and the feed rate of the elevator and feeder should not exceed the capacity of the elevator, or it will lead the block of under part of the elevator. Pay attention to the working conditions of the chain and the bucket, change the broken ones in time if needed.

11.Change the worn jaw plate, toggle plate in time in order to avoid the damage of other parts. Toggle plate is the protective parts for over loading. If the load exceeds the maximum load of the toggle plate, it will break off or become bend. Another new toggle plate now should replace the damaged one.

Common Troubles and The Methods to Eliminate of TGM Mill

No powder-output or the amount below the capacity

Powder too rough or too fine
(1) rotate speed of the classifier is not adjusted well. Powder too rough:
(1) raise the rotate speed
Powder too fine:
(1) reduce the rotate speed.
(2) vane of classifier worn out, can not function in separating powder (2) replace vanes
(3) air flow is not suitable. Powder too rough:
(3) reduce air flow.
Powder too fine:
(3) increase air flow.
The electric current and the heat of the main motor goes up, the current of the blower comes down.
(1) Too much stuff fed, the flow
channel blocked.
(1) To reduce feeding amount, to
clear-up the flow channel.
(2) air discharge of pipe is not ease, and the friction between airflow and tube brings heat, which leads the tube moist and the powder adhere to the tube, cause pipe block. (2) to control the moisture of feed material under 6%.
Abnormal noise and too much vibration of the grinder
(1) material feeding is not evenly, and with small amount . (1) adjust the feeding amount .
(2) central line of main shaft and driving device is not straight . (2) find the center line .
(3) bolts loosened. (3) fasten the bolts
(4) upper part and lower part of thrust bearing break away when installed. (4) check and readjust
(5) no gap in coupling when installed, so put thrust bearing upwards. (5) adjust the gap in coupling as requirement
(6) too hard material feed and impulse force is so strong (6) reduce the size of feeding material
(7) too fine material and rings and rollers rub directly without material. (7) lower the rotate speed of main shaft

Vibration of blower Heat-up of transmission and classifier’s oil-case
(1) Oil is too sticky and too thick, pump not functioning properly. Oil lack for shaft of upper part of driving device. (1) To check and ensure right oil used.
(2) anti-clockwise of classifier cause the pump not function well. Oil lack for the shaft of upper part of driving device. (2) to check turning direction of the classifier.
Powders get into the roller system
(1) Shortage of oil, or oil seal
damaged.
(1) To fill oil and change oil on
time
(2) short of maintenance and
cleanness for too long.
(2) to clear up and replace
oil-seal regularly.
Oil does come out smoothly from oil pump
